A Parking Violation Notice is issued if a vehicle is parked in contravention of the advertised conditions on a property we have been contracted to enforce. Please be aware that our signage meets or exceeds the requirements of the province/city by-laws that we work in.
If after reading the following conditions, you feel you have grounds for an appeal, please submit your appeal online below or mail your Parking Violation Notice reference number and your license plate number within 5 days of being towed or receiving the Parking Violation Notice. The mailing address is on the Pay a Notice page.
Appeals will NOT be considered for the following reasons:
- You did not see the signage
- Your parking permit was not clearly displayed for any reason
- You went to get some change
- You did not know it was a patrolled parking lot
- You did not know you couldn’t park at the location
- You were only gone for a few minutes
Please note, parking passes must be clearly displayed on the dashboard of your vehicle, with the date and time of expiry time clearly visible to property management and United Parking patrollers .
United Parking has access to photographic evidence which will be reviewed when reviewing your appeal. If failure to display, or incorrect display is the reason for the notice, producing a valid ticket, after the event will not be cause for a refund.
Our goal is to provide a fair and efficient appeals service carried out by our appeals team. When necessary, United Parking uses photographic and video evidence, along with reports from our patrollers when reviewing and responding to appeals .
Once your appeal is received we will contact you within 10 business days.
